As an author, I have to be steadfast in my efforts to reach individuals that would benefit from my writing. My creations are lesson-oriented with great influence to assist people with making decisions. As a child, I loved watching Aesop's Fables. My favorite story was the one about the tortoise and the hare. The hare was faster than the tortoise, so it was undeniable that the hare would beat the tortoise. The hare underestimated the tortoise's steadfastness and was consumed with his own thoughts of beating the tortoise. While the hare took it easy because he just knew he would win, the tortoise continued his journey toward the finish line and demonstrated the very quote from Aesop's Fables that "slow and steady wins the race." Just remember, if you ever feel like a tortoise and feel underappreciated. Don't give up because you too can beat a hare.
