Excited about the Children Book Fun Shop that I will be doing in Camden, New Jersey on Friday, September 4, 2015. I will be raffling off two kid's shirts from the book. The kids between the ages of 5 to 12 will complete a kids activity with me and then put together a small little goodie bag. All in Together Girls is about a childhood jump rope game that some kids use to play as children. It teaches children about all the months, the weather associated with those months, how to work in a team, and that it is ok to lose.

A Meeting with Tina C. Hines (Life Transformation Specialist)
Today was a great day. It started out by me waking up early this morning to take my car to the shop to get new tires. This trip led me to walking to Subway and having breakfast at the restaurant. I cannot tell you how long it has been since I have eaten breakfast or lunch for that matter at a local Subway. I usually just grab my order and go. Today was different though. I had time to share, so I relaxed and just let my mind be free.
Next, I returned to the shop and had a friendly conversation with another patron who was waiting for his car. The conversation was about the family on the TV and their nationality. This led to other discussions about food, health, and youth. This definitely helped the time go by as I waited for my car.
My next adventure led me to meeting with Tina C. Hines, Life Transformation Specialist. Tina was a breath of fresh air as she opened up about her life and other information that is unusually for a first meeting. I felt connected with her. Although my emotions did not display this in the beginning, I started to open up more and more and we continued our discussion. So glad I was able to meet her face-to-face and I look forward to future collaborations or meetings.

Straight off the press. Ready for you to digest. Read with an open mind. No longer will your third eye be blind.
New edition of ME! Newsletter. Welcoming our new writer, Deven Williams. So impressed with this young man who expressed his interest in writing for this and future editions. He really took to his article about Invisible Shackles to a whole new level. Educating folks about the many disparities faced by African-Americans. Congrats Devin on an article well done. My other writer T. Ayan Nelson also did a wonderful job in writing about reparations. She focused on both sides of the story and provided great links for people to make their own conclusion. They both did a great job!
